Sara Palin fired two city officials for nothing more then "not supporting" her. That was it. A librarian who wouldn't ban books. Uh.. Appalling .. book banning is soooo middle ages don't you think? In 1996, Palin launched her mayoral career by firing Wasilla Police Chief Irl Stambaugh and the town's directors of finance, public works and the town museum. Some had backed her opponent.
"You know in your heart when someone is supportive of you," she said then.

So she lives across the straight from Russia. This does not qualify as international experience or every Alaskan would qualify as being internationally experienced.
