Sarah Palin's White Privilege

While I think some of these things also have a heavy dose of Republican exceptionalism, this is pretty awesome:

White privilege is not knowing what the Bush Doctrine is when asked by a reporter, and then people get angry at the reporter for asking you such a “trick question,” while being black and merely refusing to give one-word answers to the queries of Bill O’Reilly means you’re dodging the question, or trying to seem overly intellectual and nuanced.

That was great, although some of what is being attributed to white privilege could also be attributed to stupidity on the part of the people reacting to the privilege. For example, the white women who give the McCain/Palin ticket a "second look" even though a vote for them would be a vote directly against their own self interest, are morons, IMHO.

I didn't see it mentioned in his post, but when white women are supporting Sarah Palin despite her clear hatred for us, you don't really see the media going ZOMG GENDER POLITICS the way they've been flipping their shit about black voters breaking for Obama. Which is at least partially attributed to republican exceptionalism, but still.
