| Let's have a thread (this one) in which we copy and paste the most moronic statements from fundies that we see in a day or week or so. I'll post the next one I see. |

| I'm sure we'll get loads of material from there, to be sure, but I meant from anywhere. Today on "The View" the discussion was about the McCain attack ad accusing Obama of voting for comprehensive sex education for kindergartners. That is a direct lie. The legislation was about teaching young children about how to be safe from pedophiles. Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the token fundie, defended the indefensible ad by saying that because the legislation allowed teachers to answer questions (as they see fit) about where babies come from if they come up in class, then that is technically allowing the teaching of comprehensive sex ed to kindergartners. |

| What the crazy fuck is wrong with a teacher answering the question "where do babies come from?" This isn't a philosophical question, it isn't a moral question, they're not asking "TEACHER, IS IT OKAY IF I FUCK SUZIE ON THE PLAYGROUND?" Babies come from sex. Since anti-choice people seem so convinced that no one is aware of this fact, you'd think that they'd be happy to start the education younger. I honestly don't know whether to be more disturbed by the fact that they don't think kids deserve honest answers, or that they think the only way to answer that question is with a clip from pornography. _________________ You always know you're in for a good night when there's a polar bear bleeding on the label!

I am sick and tired of people acting like sex is this great big shameful disgusting secret that children need to be protected from. |

So just so we're clear. It's absolutely possible to PREDICT at the beginning of the pregnancy whether or not it will go wrong. Idk, idk .... does Mugen have a crystal ball?

Some witty bastard ran a google stats thing and found a correlation between the number of storks sighted in an area and the number of babies born. OMG IS TRU! | Correlation != Causation. (I saw that same thing)

| I always thought you just strolled into the hospital nursery and picked one you liked. I'm going to see if I can find me a cute Japanese one. _________________ "I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
"Cats," he said eventually. "Cats are nice."

I'm totally using the next time someone commits the correlation = causation fallacy. _________________ You always know you're in for a good night when there's a polar bear bleeding on the label!

| I don't think Kelly Pickler is a fundie. The only thing I know about her is that she's friends with Taylor Swift, who was in a PSA speaking out against homophobia. And who is my new celebrity girlfriend, LOL. _________________ You always know you're in for a good night when there's a polar bear bleeding on the label!
